Launch of a NEW High Performance Sports Car

THE FIRST NEW Ronart sports car for over a decade was unveiled at The London Motor Show on 19th October 1999.

This stylish, thoroughbred sports car, named 'Lightning' Is designed for the discerning driver who loves the romance of motoring yet wants a car firmly set in the future.  Aimed at the TVR and Jensen specialist market sector, this exciting new car marks a new direction for Ronart. 

This two seater, high performance sports car is a high flier with the following features:-

 

    • 4.6 litre Mustang Cobra  99 engine
    • 320 bhp, V8 quad cam, 32-valve (425 bhp race tuned option)
    • 5 speed manual gearbox
    • Lightweight Carbon fibre, Kevlar and GRP composite bodywork
    • Full independent wishbone suspension front and rear
    • Suspension and steering geometry designed by Harvey Bailey Engineering
    • Hydrotrack differential
    • AP Racing designed braking system
    • Recaro Seats, Leather interior, Clarion multimedia stereo
    • Electric windows, remote locking, air conditioning etc.
    • 18" OZ wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres
